I believe that it is a leader's responsibility to communicate a vision for Watertown and not simply to repeat the question saying, ‘New growth is important to Watertown’ or ‘I am excited about what is happening on the Arsenal site’.
The legacy of environmental action of several of our current town councilors is admirable and cannot be overstated given the accomplishments they’ve made. Nevertheless, it is important to state that on November 5th, Watertown now has an opportunity to elect a pure professional in the environmental field to serve on the Town Council.
It was only two years ago during the last Town Council election when so many of us came together to show Walmart the door. And here we are now with a great opportunity to have a real election.
